The Northern Reiki Partnership was established in 1998 by two like-minded people,
Suzanne Manning and Mark Webb, their initial aim being firstly to develop and then to offer only the highest quality of Reiki training. This would involve, amongst other things, teaching in small groups, in comfortable and appropriate surroundings, building-in plenty of interaction and opportunity for hands-on learning during course time, and writing and maintaining extremely comprehensive and up to date manuals.

Their second aim was to ensure that ongoing and continuing support was available to all students after their course so that they would feel encouraged to walk the path of Reiki in their own unique way and be inspired to seek out further knowledge on the broader front of energy work and personal / spiritual development.

Needless to say, these aims proved to be sound and remain much the same today with the result that Northern Reiki has now become a large family of Reiki practitioners and teachers spread throughout the UK and other countries, from all walks of life and sharing the common bond that is the loving light of Reiki.

Briefly, from the professional perspective, Mark and Suzanne are both trained in Reiki, Meridian Therapy (EFT), EmoTrance, Touch for Health, Foundation Level Kinesiology, and Original Japanese Reiki Techniques. They have trained with Reiki teachers both in the UK and the USA.

Suzanne is also trained in Counseling, Reflexology, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Metamorphic technique, and has a teaching certificate in Adult and Further Education; she is an accredited Reiki Master Teacher with the International Guild of Professional Practitioners and a registered Karuna Reiki Master Teacher with the International Centre for Reiki Training in Michigan USA.
